The (often underestimated) technical backbone of every SAP implementation moving, cleansing, and validating data from legacy systems into the new SAP environment.


WHAT THE IMPLEMENTATION INVOLVES

  1. Data assessment & profiling identifying source systems, data volumes, and quality issues early.
  2. Mapping & cleansing defining source-to-target field mapping, deduplication, and data standardization rules.
  3. Migration execution using SAP's Migration Cockpit (Public/Private Cloud) or LTMC/LSMW/BODS (ECC/legacy) to load data in structured waves (mock loads, dress rehearsals, final cutover load).
  4. Reconciliation validating migrated data against source system counts and values before go-live sign-off.
  5. Cutover support managing the final data freeze, load, and validation window during go-live.
